demands of being on the professional senior golf tour have hindered my ability
to maintain a healthy diet and control my weight.
I recently began training with
Graham Matthews doing personal training at his fantastic private studio in
Hope Island Resort. Graham has focussed on my specific health and fitness
needs and improving my strength, mobility and flexibility in the key muscle
groups engaged in golf.
As the current Australian Open
Champion and competitor on the challenging senior circuit I was careful to
select a professional trainer who would appreciate my individual and professional
needs. My experience with Graham has been outstanding and I would not hesitate
to recommend Graham to anyone, including professional golfers wanting to
improve their golf game and, of course, their personal fitness and wellbeing.
In addition to being beneficial
in so many ways, the training has been great fun. I particularly enjoy the
boxing and circuit training sessions.
Personal training is a fantastic
way to commit to improving your fitness by being accountable and measured
on your performance.
Graham has also prepared fitness
programs for me to complete whilst I am away on tour and contacts me regularly
to monitor my progress and make sure I am keeping my promise to myself to
get fitter and stronger.
I intend to retain my ticket
on the senior tour for many years to come and my training with Graham is
now an integral part of achieving that goal in the years ahead
